Luigi Cioffi
Dr Luigi Cioffi, born in Acerra (Naples) on 5 February 1955, is a family paediatrician at ASL Napoli2 NORD, Pozzuoli (Naples) branch.
He graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery on 31/03/1982, followed by a specialisation in paediatrics with honours on 30/07/1986, at the then 1st Polyclinic of Naples, now the Vanvitelliana Faculty.
During his career, he has held various training courses on otological diagnosis in the family paediatrician's surgery.
Since 2023, he has been the national head of the audiology network of the FIMP (Federazione Medici Pediatri, Federation of Paediatricians).
He is the author of various publications on the diagnosis and treatment of ear infections.
Antonio D'Avino
Born in 1962, he is registered with the Naples Medical Association.
He is a Paediatrician of Free Choice (PLS) in Portici (Naples), ASL NA 3 Sud.
Since 2022, he has been National President of FIMP, the Italian Federation of Paediatricians, the largest organisation of Pediatricians of Free Choice in Italy. Other FIMP positions: National Vice-President, Provincial Councillor and Secretary of Naples, FIMP Councillor for Campania.
In the field of emergency medicine, he is a SIMEUP Basic Life Support Defibrillator (BLS-D) National Instructor and promotes awareness of airway clearance manoeuvres. He coordinates the SIMEUP “Pediatri Fimp” Training Centre in Naples, organising BLS-D courses; the centre is accredited by the Campania Region for the promotion of the use of semi-automatic defibrillators (AEDs). He is a PEARS AHA instructor and PALS performer.
He attended the ‘Advanced Course in Healthcare Management and Clinical Governance for PLS Coordinators of AFT/UCCP Representatives’ at the Department of Public Health of the University of Naples Federico II and the ‘Training Course in Bilateralism, Welfare and New Collective Bargaining’ at LUISS University.
He is a member of the ENPAM Board of Directors.
He is a member of Technical Committees at the Campania Region, the Order of Doctors, and ASL NA 3 Sud.
He is the author of national and international scientific publications.
He is a CTU (Technical Consultant) for the Court of Naples.
