Dave Fabry
As Chief Hearing Health Officer, Dave Fabry, Ph.D., studies and educates on the link between hearing loss and other health issues such as dementia, depression, and overall well-being. He works closely with the clinical audiology department to develop innovations to best meet patient needs, as well as with our engineering and marketing teams to help Starkey continue to design and provide superior products with the understanding that hearing care is health care.
Dave Fabry received his Ph.D. in hearing science from the University of Minnesota. Subsequently, he divided his career between academic/clinical roles at the Mayo Clinic, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the University of Miami Medical Center, and several industry positions. He served as President and Board Member of the American Academy of Audiology and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Auditory Society.
Additionally, Dave Fabry has served as Editor-in-Chief of Audiology Today and the American Journal of Audiology, and as Section Editor of Ear and Hearing. He is licensed as an Audiologist in Minnesota, Florida, and Rwanda.
His 40 years of industry experience and proven ability to implement forward-thinking concepts is instrumental in shaping the future innovations at Starkey.
Madison Levine
Madison Levine, BC-HIS, is a second-generation hearing healthcare professional and the founder of Levine Hearing, an independent practice in South Charlotte. Inspired by her mother’s 30-year career in hearing care, she built her professional path around patient-centered, evidence-based solutions. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and is Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences, a certification reflecting her commitment to ongoing learning and professional excellence. Madison has managed successful hearing care practices and now leads a dedicated team of audiologists and support staff. As a recognized thought leader, she has presented nationally at leading industry events, including the International Hearing Society Conference, HearWorld, Dr. Gyl’s WOW Retreat, and TEDx Sugar Creek Women. Her work focuses on elevating hearing care as an essential part of overall health, cognitive longevity, and quality of life.
Blaise M. Delfino
Blaise Delfino, M.S. – HIS is an innovative leader in the field of hearing healthcare with 11 years of experience as a licensed hearing instrument specialist. With a progressive career spanning operations, sales, marketing, and business management, Blaise possesses a wealth of experience and expertise that has been proven in the audiology private practice setting.
As a former private practice owner, he encountered patients from all walks of life, understanding the diverse financial circumstances they may face. With a steadfast dedication to prioritizing the needs of the patient over financial constraints, Blaise consistently fit patients to their specific hearing needs. This mindset ensured that optimal care and financial accessibility were harmoniously balanced, promoting a patient-centered approach while also maintaining the sustainability and success of the practice.
Known for a forward-thinking and performance-oriented approach, Blaise constantly strives to push the boundaries of innovation in the industry. He invented the world’s first custom adjustable earplug called “Fader Plugs” and hosts a top-rated hearing healthcare podcast, The Hearing Matters Podcast. With a deep understanding of the challenges individuals with hearing loss face, Blaise is dedicated to spreading awareness and improving access to quality care.
In addition to his hands-on experience as a private practice owner, he also serves as the Director of Professional Relations at Starkey Hearing Technologies.
