Resulting from years of collaboration between Dr Ulmer, Synapsys and research institutes, Synapsys VHIT system is a breakthrough tool for the evaluation of vestibular system.
Differently from all the other video-HIT devices available on the market, Synapsys VHIT does not require the patient to wear any goggles: all the measurements and results are given by the analysis of the head and eyes movements, captured by a remote camera placed at 1 meter from the patient.
During the seminar, Mario Pizzeghello, product specialist at Inventis, provides simple instructions to perform vestibular examinations with SYNAPSYS VHIT.

IMC (Inter Module Communication) usually called AutoREM or similar, allows direct communication between the hearing aid (HA) fitting software and the Real Ear Measurement (REM) software, through the popular hearing care software Noah. IMC direct communication is needed by hearing care professionals to perform the hearing aid fitting against a prescribed target by acquiring in-situ measurements automatically.
Using IMC, the HA fitting software controls the communication process with the REM device autonomously and gets the measured data directly from the REM software.
Maestro software, which controls the Inventis REM system Trumpet, is officially IMC compliant with the following hearing aids software:

The presence of complete normative data with which to compare results, the possibility to insert markers in real time and select different tracking modes (graphs, tables), as well as the available pre-loaded test protocols, make the software extremely reliable and easy to use.

To perform a REM examination, a series of stimuli (with a well-known spectrum and intensity), are presented to the hearing-impaired individual through a loudspeaker. The generated sound pressure is measured by means of two dedicated microphones, one close to the eardrum and the other close to the pinna. The goal of this webinar is to provide an essential guide to understand the aims and benefits associated with a REM examination. Additionally, simple instructions to perform verification with the REM system Trumpet, developed by Inventis, will be presented in detail by our Product Specialist Mario Pizzeghello.
