Celesta
Celesta
Celesta is Inventis' cutting-edge, PC-based solution for managing auditory and vestibular evoked potentials. This scalable system combines precision with ease of use, allowing configuration versatility with various available modules to meet diverse clinical needs. Designed to integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows, its compatibility with Inventis Maestro software further enhances flexibility and clinical efficiency. With the HEARLab® ACA (Aided Cortical Assessment) module, Celesta also enables objective cortical verification of amplified speech signals. Its statistical output (p-value) helps reduce subjective interpretation, making the test manageable even for clinicians without extensive prior experience.
FLEXIBILITY AND SCALABILITY
Designed to evolve with your clinical needs, Celesta offers scalable options to suit diverse diagnostic environments. The flexible licensing structure allows you to configure Celesta for your specific requirements and expand capabilities as your practice grows.
Choose the version that fits your practice:
- EP Basic: Includes ABR and eABR – ideal for core auditory diagnostics.
- EP Plus: Adds advanced ECochG and MLR/LLR features to the EP Basic suite.
- EP VEMP: focused on vestibular assessment, with dedicated oVEMP and cVEMP capabilities.
- EP HEARLab® ACA (Aided Cortical Assessment): objective verification of amplified speech reaching the auditory cortex.
Celesta also supports single- and dual-channel configurations, adaptable to different clinical demands.
STIMULUS RANGE AND COMPATIBILITY
Celesta delivers versatile testing options with stimuli like Clicks, Chirp, Tone Bursts, and White Noise, reaching up to 125 dB SPL. Stimulus durations are adjustable up to 50 ms, with tone burst frequencies spanning from 250 to 4000 Hz. Compatible with AC and BC transducers, Celesta also supports free-field measurements for Aided Cortical Assessment (ACA), enabling precise, adaptable auditory assessments across different patient needs.
HEARLab® ACA: Objective Cortical Verification of Speech
The HEARLab® ACA (Aided Cortical Assessment) module expands Celesta’s capabilities by enabling clinicians to objectively verify whether amplified speech signals reach the auditory cortex.
Using speech stimuli (/m/, /g/, /t/, /s/) presented in free field and automated statistical detection (p-value), ACA provides an objective confirmation of speech audibility at the cortical level, supporting clinical decisions when behavioural feedback is limited or unreliable.
Key advantages
• supports fitting verification and adjustments
• Shorter exam time
• No prior knowledge required
• Statistical results (p-value): less subjective interpretation
SMART FEATURES FOR CLINICAL EFFICIENCY
- Automatic Single-Channel Switch: Celesta’s internal automatic switch simplifies setup, eliminating the need for cable swapping.
- Vertex Short-Circuiting: Switch between 5-electrode and 4-electrode configurations directly via software, removing the need for a Y-cable.
- Guided Electrode Connection: Integrated LED indicators assist in patient prep.
- Bioamplifier Controls: Check impedance and start acquisition directly from the bioamplifier.
- Dedicated VEMP Tests: Separate cervical and ocular VEMP tests for accuracy and clarity.
- One Cable for Power and Control: Celesta operates with a single USB cable, combining power and seamless PC control via Maestro software. Maximum simplicity, no hassle.
INTEGRATION WITH MAESTRO SOFTWARE
Celesta works seamlessly with Maestro, the comprehensive platform managing all Inventis devices. With Maestro, clinicians can consolidate audiological, vestibular, and evoked potentials tests into unified reports, simplifying patient management and enhancing clinical productivity.
